John 1:4-5

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:4-5

Matthew 26:40-41

And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping; and He said to Peter, "So could you not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:40-41

Luke 9:46-48

An argument arose among the disciples about which of them was the greatest. Jesus realized the intention of their hearts and took a child and placed it by his side and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.” Luke 9:46-48

Walk the Walk

In today's Gospel reading the man had two sons and he asked them both to work in the vineyard. One son only talked the talk. He said that he would work in the vineyard, but then he didn't.
The other son said no at first, but then changed his mind and did work in the vineyard. This second son at first made a mistake by saying no, but then changed his mind and walked the walk.
We all make mistakes but Jesus is always ready to forgive us, if we are ready to walk the walk and live a good life according to God's plan for us.
