Advent

Today is the 1st day of Advent, as we prepare for the Feast of Christmas. Let us try to pray at least 5 decades of the Rosary every day during Advent in preparation for a truly Blessed Christmas.
In the 6th month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And he came to her and said, "Hail full of grace, the Lord is with you!" Luke 1:26-28

And the angel said to her,"Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus." Luke 1:30-31

Thanksgiving

A day of Thanksgiving for all of the many graces we have received from God. Thanksgiving for the love and peace He has given us, for the hope and strength we have received to help us with the challenges in life. As we pray the Rosary today and meditate on the lives of Jesus and Mary, we are thankful and we try to show thanks in our prayers and also in the way we live our lives. Let our lives be lived in harmony with the lives of Jesus and Mary, as found in the Bible. Let the words of the Bible be alive in our lives. Today we humbly pray our prayer of Thanksgiving.
