Be not Afraid
And in that region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them,"Be not afraid;for behold,I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all people; ...for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:8-11

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
"After three days they found Him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking questions; and all who heard Him were amazed at His understanding and His answers." Luke 2:46-47(5th Joyful Mystery)
Even in the Joyful Mysteries there is a mixture of sorrow and joy, sorrow of searching for Jesus and joy of finding Him.Let us continue to pray as we face the sorrows and joys in our own lives

John 19:17-18
So they took Jesus, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew Golgotha. There they crucified Him, and with him two others, one on either side; and Jesus between them. John 19: 17-18

Meditation on the Crowning with Thorns
I humbly pray.O most sorrowful Mother Mary, meditating on the Mystery of the Crowning of Our Lord with thorns, when, the soldiers, binding about His head a crown of sharp thorns, showered blows upon it, driving the thorns deeply into His head; then, in mock adoration, knelt before Him, crying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
