Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12
We have been called to walk in the Light of Christ. Jesus has summoned us to follow the path of Light, which is the path to life. The Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary, the Mysteries of Light.

The Holy Ghost, Spouse of Mary
"The more the Holy Ghost finds Mary, His dear and inseparable spouse, in any soul, the more active and mighty He becomes in producing Jesus Christ in that soul, and that soul in Jesus Christ." St. Louis De Montfort (1673-1716)
The Rosary Gives Us Hope
The Rosary gives us so much hope, so much grace, so much strength. It puts our whole life in harmony with the lives of Jesus and Mary.
No dust on our Bibles
Let there be no dust on our Bibles, may they be well worn from use instead. A Bible that has not been read, just sits there gathering dust. A well worn Bible is what we want to have, one that is in daily use.
The Word of God must become part of our daily lives if we want to live life to the fullest. We are always trying to do a little better and to move forward in our prayer life. The Word of God is not a history book that sits on a shelf. The Word of God is alive in us, when it becomes part of our daily life.
Have you ever seen the heavy punching bags that boxers use in their training. For a boxer to become good, his punching bag should not look like new for very long. After a certain amount of training, the bag starts to become worn and at that point the boxer will take a roll of duct tape and circle the bag with it covering the areas that are the most worn, so the bag can still be used and it wil not fall apart.
Our Bibles should become worn with use, just like a boxer's heavy punching bag. Our Bibles, the ones used on a daily basis, may need a little tape to keep them together but that is a good sign.

Mary's Presence
"It is as if Our Lady were praying along with me each of the decades of the Rosary. Our faith teaches us that Mary intercedes for us as do all the saints. And Mary is Queen of the Saints. She has a place of preeminence among those holy men and women who have gone before us. In each of the mysteries, the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and now the Luminous Mysteries, her wonderful and powerful presence can be felt."

"Blessed Mother"
Our favorite title for Our Lady is "Blessed Mother." In Luke 1:48 we read "For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed." Many titles have been given to our Blessed Mother including: Immaculate Conception, Comforter of the Afflicted, Our Lady of the Rosary and many, many more. What are some of your favorite titles for our Blessed Mother?

The 5 First Saturdays
Our Blessed Mother appeared to Sister Lucia on Dec.10,1925 and said,"Announce in my name that I promise to assist at the hour of death with all the graces necessary for salvation, all those who,on the first Saturday of 5 consecutive months,go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite the Rosary, and keep me company for a quarter of an hour while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary with the intention of making reparation to me."
